Between the Convenience of Mock Tests and Technical Challenges

Today I took a mock test for the Academic Ability Test (TKA) in Indonesian. Overall, the questions felt quite straightforward to do. In fact, not a single question made me hesitate, and everything went really smoothly. The type of question that caught my attention the most was the complex multiple-choice style, which required choosing more than one correct answer.

However, behind that sense of relief, a bit of anxiety crept in: will the actual TKA turn out to be much harder? Logically, the real exam usually has a higher level of difficulty, so I shouldn't get complacent just because this mock test went well.

Aside from the content, another challenge actually came from technical issues. Right in the middle of doing the exam, my internet connection suddenly became unstable. The exam app screen even showed a gateway error and network disruptions. Moments like this really test your patience. As soon as the error happened, I reported it straight away to the invigilator and waited for it to be sorted. Fortunately, the technical glitch didn't last long, less than five minutes, so I was able to resume the exam right away and get my focus back.
